Acoustic Treatments

With the combination of treatments and expertise offered by ES Audio Visual, we can treat any space to sound better. Many clients have spent thousands of rands on equipment and not achieved the results promised due to lack of an adequate listening environment. We have a range of products that can deaden and tighten a room; and reduce bleed into other areas of the home. Many of these solutions can be customised to suit the decor of the room and add value to the home.

Acoustic sound diffusion keeps sound waves from grouping, so there are no hot spots or nulls in a room. In fact, sound diffusion greatly widens the “sweet spot” and lends a strong, 3D sense of openness to a room, making it easier to hear “into” a mix. Diffusion shatters standing waves and flutter echoes without removing acoustic energy from the space or greatly changing the frequency content of the sound. Acoustic sound diffusion can make a small space seem large and a large space seem even larger.

SpacerAudio SystemsLow frequency sound waves are so long – and thus so strong – they are the toughest to control. This is true no matter whether you’re attempting to block their transmission to a neighboring space or trying to absorb them to clean up the low frequency response within a room. Controlling low frequency sound is harder than controlling mid or high frequency sound and generally requires more effort and expense. Our rage of bass traps can greatly reduce muddiness in your room and reduce the transmission of loud bass to the rest of the home and the neighborhood.

SpacerLights and AutomationAcoustic sound absorption foam is well-suited to alleviate slap and flutter echo, the two most common problems in rooms not specifically designed for music recording and performance. We can use this foam in many creative ways including panels that look like artwork or columns. This attractive and inexpensive material can dramatically transform the acoustics of your listening area or home cinema without effecting the aesthetics of the room.
